At Coffee Kobo Yamamoto, each cup is brewed meticulously across the counter using a flannel nel drip, inviting guests to savor the character of each bean amid the fragrant air of in-house roasting. The lineup spans single origins and blends, from a mellow Royal Blend with restrained bitterness and acidity to full-bodied Mandheling and crisp, fruit-toned Ethiopian roasts. For a cold drink, the iced coffee stands out for being served with ice cubes made from brewed coffee, ensuring the flavor never waters down as it melts.
For sweets to pair with your cup, there are light, airy chiffon cakes and moist yuzu pound cake laced with bright citrus notes. Morning hours bring breakfast sets paired with toast or whole-wheat bread, offering an affordable way to ease quietly into the day.
Beyond the cafe seating, the shop sells its house-roasted beans by weight, allowing visitors to select beans suited to their taste or have them ground on the spot. A dedicated free parking area makes it easy to stop by during a drive, and payments are cash only.
